We discuss the Wendigo at Windigo Lake in the Chippewa National Forest. Is the Wendigo a physical being or a spectre? Is it Wendigo or Windigo? We don’t know the answer to these questions, so we brought in an expert. Chad Lewis, prolific author and Legend Tripper and honorary Travel Oddities Crew joins us to discuss this, the creepiest of cryptid/ghost things….
This oddity is spooky, but not as scary as traversing this area in the winter….dunna’ do eh.
Chippewa National Forest has twenty-three developed campgrounds, 100 back-country sites, 160 miles of hiking trails, 900 miles of river and three of the largest lakes in the state.
